FACILITY RULES AND GUIDELINES

Wellness Floor Rules 

  • Notify staff in the event of an emergency.
  • ​ Stop working out if you do not feel well. Shirts, athletic shoes, and appropriate athletic attire are required.
  • Wipe down equipment after each use.
  • Let others work in between sets.
  • ​Limit cardio equipment use to 30 minutes when others are waiting.
  • Do not drop weights.
  • Photos ad phone calls are prohibited in exercise areas and locker rooms.
  • Children aged 10 - 14 years of age must complete TNT (Teens In Training) prior to using the Wellness Center.​
  • Children under 10 are not permitted in the Wellness Center.

Gym Rules 

  • Notify staff in the event of an emergency.

  • Respectful language and gestures are expected.
  • No horseplay or dunking.
  • Harassment of others will not be tolerated.
  • Only drinks in closeable containers are allowed.
  • No food allowed in gym.
  • Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.

Track Guidelines

  • One Mile = 17 laps 
  • Yield to runners when entering the track.
  • No stopping on the track.
  • Walkers keep to the left. Pass others on the right.
  • Walkers with strollers may have limited access during peak hours.
  • Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent and may not use the fitness equipment.

Sauna Rules 

  • Must be 18 years old to use the sauna
  • Consult a physician before use:
    • If you are pregnant, elderly, or on prescribed medicines.
    • If you have heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure.
    • Do not use if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Shower before entering.
  • A swimsuit is required.
  • Limit use to 15 minutes per session.
  • Containers of any kind are not permitted in the sauna.
  • Please refrain from using scents, body oils, or perfumes in the sauna.
  • Please do not pour water on the heater.
