Dear Y Family,

Over the past five weeks we have enjoyed seeing many of you brave the summer heat in outdoor group fitness classes, we have loved hearing the giggles of children in day camps, and throughout this time remained hopeful that we soon could announce our full reopening.

However, as the numbers continue to trend in the wrong direction, we find ourselves under a new Executive Order from Governor Cooper extending Safer at Home Phase 2 of reopening and mandating our continued closure for three more weeks.

2020 is stretching each of us in ways never expected, but we anticipate that all of us are coming out on the other side stronger and with greater flexibility! We understand your frustration, we hear your concerns, and we are in it with you.

There remains much unknown, but here is what we DO know: It is only because of YOU that we are still here and able to serve our community, and we are committed to the continued pursuit of creative ways to be here for you.

Meanwhile, keep checking our website, app, and social media for outdoor classes and updates. We'll take every opportunity we can to welcome our members back to Y, even when socially distant and wearing face masks as required in NC.

We're grateful for your understanding and continued support. Where there's a Y, there's a way, and we will continue to find a way through this, together.

Thank you for #StayingWithUs. For a better us.
