Dear Valued Members and Families:
In an effort to prevent continued spread of COVID-19, our Y has made the difficult decision to temporarily close our facility effective Tuesday, March 17.
Since the Y's inception in 1851, we have always been that organization that walked in the direction of the challenge and provided critical services during uncertain times. During our temporary closure, we are working closely with local officials, emergency agencies, school systems and health care organizations to support our community and will share those details and how you can help neighbors in need as soon as possible.
As a nonprofit, we are working hard to serve during this time. Your generous support provides a foundation for our work. Please know your membership is meaningful to us and that "meaning" lies in the relationships you have built at the Y. Those relationships are based upon the humanity you share with others. We are asking you to support us in service of our community. The Coronavirus has created enormous uncertainty; however, how we manage it is in our control. Join us in creating a history that demonstrates how we came together and served those who needed us the most. Let us tell the story of the "meaningful" ways in which we responded. Let that be the story that is told.
Stay tuned for exciting virtual workouts to help you stay active.
Needless to say, we will reopen as soon as possible, and hope that you will find it in your heart to continue to support us. As things change, we will continue to keep you informed. We are grateful for your understanding, flexibility and support.
