The Foundation YMCA provides quality care for children ages six weeks through 12 years of age for YMCA members participating in YMCA activities. Childwatch is short-term childcare available to parents and guardians participating in Y activities or programs.

Have you heard about our Middle School After School Program Y-GIG? With the gracious support and funding provided by the Healthcare Foundation of Wilson, we will be able to support your child(ren) in school and during our Middle School After-School programming.

The Foundation YMCA provides professionally certified Personal Trainers. Our trainers will provide guidance in helping individuals improve their overall health. This can include working on cardio endurance as well as muscular strength and endurance. Don't want to workout alone? Check out our training sessions for two!

Teens in training motivate youth in a non-competitive atmosphere to become their personal best. Participants in this program meet with an instructor and receive information on how to carry out a safe, effective exercise program. Instruction for healthy nutrition and proper use of cardio and strength equipment are included. Participants complete both a written and practical exam to be eligible for graduation.

We offer fun and rewarding activities that help children develop valuable skills and gain confidence and self-esteem. We strive to strengthen and enrich the character of every child. We also have a lot of FUN!
